Bing Bing Taiwanese Dessert House

First of all, wish everyone Merry Christmas. I have been noticed about Bing Bing Taiwanese Dessert House during Christmas Eve celebration at Strait Quay. I am waiting so long for some kind of dessert made from Taro Ball (Yam and Potato). As we know Taro Ball only can get at Snowflake in KL. However, now you can get it at Bing Bing Taiwanese Dessert House at Strait Quay in Penang Island.

   

I found that it much better in term of the portion served and pricing if compare to other dessert house. Again the place is separated into difference session with difference dining atmosphere. Cozy seat and long tables located at inside house which suitable for dining, friends gathering, supper and etc. for those smokers, there is an open air session as well.

For tracking purpose, a medal will be given once you do payment for your orders. Customer is required to choose the flavor of the ice and then choose the topping with difference combination. Honey or creamer will be served upon requested. The dessert served, customer service provider and entirely atmosphere are considered very good.

Blue Reef Fish & Chips

Blue Reef Fish and Chip the best fish and chip in town. As the name applied, they are famous for their fish and chips. Besides, they are other choice like sausage, prawns, calamari, or mixed both (prawns and calamari) for those who are not fan of fishes. They are various choices for starters: salad, sandwiches, pizza, pies, and soup also with appetizers.  It’s separated into 2 sessions: indoor seating in air-condition and outside seating in open air.

Two ordering method, you can either chose “Traditional Fish & Chips” or “Seafood Galore”. Traditional Fish & Chips served with salad, chips & torture sauce and make a choice for traditional beer batter or bread crumbs. Same to Seafood Galore, you can choose traditional beer batter or bread crumbs but the only different is served in big portion which suitable for those are hefty appetite or feel like want to share. Attempting combination of scallops, prawns, calamari rings, salad and chips with fish fillet of various type of fishes: Mahi-Mahi, Spanish Mackerel, Threadfin, Garoupa, Halibut, Cod (Chilean Sea Bass).

Since today are Christmas Eve, thereby they only served with few choice from Christmas dinner set. The set served with Appetizer: Grilled Scallop and Duck Breast Confit, main courses are five choices from Grilled NZ Sole Fish Fillet, Roasted Turkey, Roasted Lamb Shoulder, Seared US Black Angus Sirioin, and lastly is Signature Fish and Chips (Cod, Halibut, Garoupa) by selected one. Dessert is Bruche De Noel, a slice of cake with rich chocolate. For the drinks, six choices for you to choose one are House Wine (Red or White), Fruit Juice (Apple, Orange or Mango) and Iced Lemon Tea.

Overall dining atmosphere is good for groups, family and kid. Specialize for lunch, dinner, afternoon tea, or drinks. Besides, good in customer service also.

Cheers Restaurant & Bierhaus

Another new restaurant coming to town which is Cheers Restaurant & Bierhaus located at Tanjong Tokong, beside Subaidah Restaurant.

It's been separated into different session. Bar counter with 2 bartender standing to serve alcoholic. Cold weather and comfortable dining atmosphere can be choose either inside or outside. Another session with pool table beside bar counter is good for those who want to relax after dining.

Overall food & beverage and customer service are consider good.

Finally, Fullhouse opened at a very special date, 11.11.11 located @ Penang Time Square. Although I been there for couple of time at KL but its quite fresh to Penang. Today is a special day for all of us. Do all the best for our self.  

Let me describe Fullhouse to you. Theme of white make the whole environment becomes brighter. Besides, all the tables and chairs are white. The menu is like a cosmic or magazine with many colorful cartoons inside. Another special is Fullhosue has a hair salon inside. Also, a big hall located on the upper floor. 

Smoked salmon slices with fresh mango and boutique salad  

 Dessert set is served with three choice of selected dessert. Here we go, two sets of dessert with all selected choice. Crème brulee, tiramisu. Chocolate brownie with cream puff and etc..
