K-Pot Korean BBQ Garden Restaurant

Another new great Korean cuisine style restaurant located at Tanjong Bungah. K-Pot Korean Barbeque Garden Restaurant is located along the way from Tangjung Bungah to Batu Ferringhi. As the name applied, it is serving Korean food. Simple dining atmosphere, not sophisticated design. It is more towards home style dining experience. But because it is located along the main road, so there is limited parking space available.

Macau Street Restaurant 澳門街 Karpal Singh Drive

Macau Street Restaurant is located in the Maritime Piazza at Karpal Sigh Drive. Inside the restaurant, with many and nice photography of "Macau Street" is hanging around the wall. With the hanging dim light and old style fan, make the atmosphere look unique. Large space size with cozy dining chairs and tables, providing comfortable space for dining.

Their recommended is the "Portuguese Tart", but we did not order it. Next time should visit again purposely for the tart. We came for their main course. The food is definitely delicious. Here is another great place for huge number of people for gathering and dining together.

Hotel Ceylon Cafe

Along Lorong Ceylon, sporting colonial-style wooden windows, the Hotel Ceylon Cafe is part of a shop house which turned into a hotel and cafe. The hotel offers accommodation to visitors. The Hotel Ceylon Cafe is serving brewed coffee, fruit juice, fresh cakes and pasta. Here are pork free, but served with alcohol on its menu.

Maricosa Strait Quay Penang

The first Hawaiian dishes that I tried in town, it is all about Maricosa, which is located at Strait Quay, Tanjung Bungah. It is authentic Hawaiian themed cuisine dining style with Hawaiian Music. Maricosa give cozy dining area either in the indoor with wooden floors  and bright white walls, or the outdoor facing the sea.  Located at the corner of the central Straits Quay.

Coffee Smith Karpal Singh Penang

Coffee Smith is a new popular cafe located at Maritime Piazza along Karpal Singh Drive. The Chinese name called 咖啡史密斯. It was opened in mid of year2014 and be the first restaurant to start their business in this new building. Also Coffee Smith is the only one here in Malaysia thus far. And it original is from Taiwan. With their creativity interior design concept, especially the exposed pipes and hanging light-bulbs will be another great dining experience. Coffee Smith is serving Western-Italian food with the quality of the ingredients. But the prices are slightly higher. The service was a little bit slow, probably because full of customers. If you are planning to visit here, please make sure you make the reservation prior.

One of the best-sellers is Scallp and Mentaiko Cream Linguine. Its taste creamy. 



One of their recommended menus is Grilled Cuttlefish with Cuttlefish Risotto. If you like mint taste, this would be highly recommended to you.

Gangnam Style Korean BBQ Restaurant Tanjung Tokong Penang

Gangnam Style Korean BBQ previously known as Korean Palace, it's located in Tanjung Tokong, Penang, opposite to Precinct 10. Another famous Korean restaurant in Penang served Korean Cuisine.

Today we're here for BBQ set meal and KImchi Jeongol. The BBQ set meal served with seafood pancake, pork ribs, pork belly, pork neck, spicy chili chicken, teriyaki chicken and soy sauce chicken. Kimchi Jeongol served with kimchi, pork slices, tofu, and vegetable varieties. Of course the most important for Korean cuisine is the side dishes. The set includes rice, dessert and free flow of tea. There are ample parking spaces right in front of the building itself.
